Production Operations Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Operations Engineer at a business unit. The Operations Engineers are key members of each reservoir management team, providing the link from the subsurface to the surface. They use their experience and skills to enhance asset value through the optimization of individual well performance, participation in RMT collaboration activities, generation of capital/expense workover AFE’s and new well completions, optimization of artificial lift/stimulation practices, and provide operations engineering support for secondary recovery performance.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in engineering. 2. Minimum five years production and operations engineering experience. (Prefer 10-15) 3. Knowledgeable in all aspects of drilling, reservoir and production operations. 4. Capacity to diagnose, measure, improve, and control the operation of artificial lift systems including rod pump, gas lift, and ESP's. 5. Ability to identify, develop, and execute profitable workover/completions projects. 6. Proficient in sand control, acid and fracture stimulation practices 6. Ability to prioritize workloads effectively in a challenging multidiscipline team environment. 7. Fundamental knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office products. 8. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
