Non Profit Organization located Downtown is seeking experienced  Resource Manager

 

SUMMARY:  Responsible for assessing milestones and goals established in service plans to be used for employment referrals, continued education referrals and supportive services referrals;  Responsible for outreaching/marketing the organization's services to community partners (churches).

 

 

           

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Teach and instruct in the use of computers, keyboarding, Microsoft Office Applications, the INTERNET and other software applications as needed
  • Develop new employment opportunities and foster company relationships
  • Establish a database of corporate employment opportunities, assist clients with job search and facilitate direct job placement/ referrals
  • Contact companies for current job openings and conduct general follow-up
  • Facilitate Employment Orientation, Resume Preparation Workshop and Job Club
  • Assist in client’s assessment and Life Skills coaching
  • Coordinate companies and recruit clients for on-site recruitment
  • Participate in career fairs, company forums and with professional associations to market and promote program services
  • Coordinate and report client status as required
  • Remain abreast of market trends updating clients regarding information technology process changes
  • Coordinate organization's services to the underserved communities through use of community partners 

 

EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in related field preferred or minimally 3-5 years direct related experience

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Verifiable experience in Job Readiness and Soft-skills training to include: interpersonal relationships, dress, business protocol
  • Ability to relate to clients across a broad spectrum of talents and abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Must have verifiable experience establishing corporate relationship
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • High level of community involvement to foster collaborative partnerships
  • Prior experience in sales, marketing, public or corporate relations.
  • Superior customer services skills to include conflict resolution abilities

 

Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate with proven ability in MS Office Applications, including Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
