Our client in Hayward is seeking Food Process Workers that have a strong work ethic, dependable and enjoys producing quality product.

Summary: Food Processors are responsible for a variety of duties designed to move the product from its raw state to a finished product.

Essential Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

Defrosting product (may use dolly to move product)
Washing, weighing, measuring, and cutting product
Cooking product by boiling, steaming, and smoking
Operating mixing and/or spinning machines
Moving up to 1100 lb. tanks and other equipment
Bundling, sealing, labeling, and organizing product and/or packing material
Keeping inventory of materials and notifying line leader when stock is low
Cleaning of equipment and work area

Safety Equipment: Must follow safe and sanitary working guidelines; SSOPs and GMPs.

Personal Protective Equipment: Must be worn where required, i.e. face mask, gloves, boots, hairnet

Qualifications/Physical Job Requirements:

Must enjoy working in a fast paced, physical environment which includes frequent: standing, kneeling, bending, grasping and twisting.
Requires lifting or carrying of up to 70 lbs.
Must be comfortable working around moving equipment and heavy machinery;
Regular exposure to wetness, cold temperatures, ozone gas; strong odors;
Good math skills; metric knowledge helpful;
Reliable, responsible and proactive; enjoys producing a quality product.
Good communication skills necessary; strong leadership ability desired.
Should possess a desire and ability to progress to next level quickly.
