GIS Specialist / Designer
Seeking an experienced GIS Designer to join our development team. The candidate will work closely with our team of professionals to implement GIS Web mapping applications based on ArcGIS 9,3,1 and AcGIS API for Microsoft Silverlight. The candidate will also work closely with end-users to create/maintain maps and enhance existing map applications,
Job Duties
Work on all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support.
Develop and maintain large scale web mapping applications using C#, Silverlight, and ArcGIS Server,
Assisting with designing and managing ArcGIS servers,
Optimizing and Tuning Servers in the environment.
Troubleshooting ArcGIS Servers in the environment.
Extensive hands on experience with ESRI's suite of ArcGIS products, particularly the ArcGIS Server technology,
Assist in creation/modification of Assessment Maps using ArcGIS 9,3,1
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret organizational and procedural
problems in order to make recommendations and alterations to existing
procedures,
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly break down complex issues
Communicate clearly with internal resources and project manager. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Candidate must have experience with the following:

Microsoft Visual Studio 2008/2010,.NET, ArcObjects, C#

Microsoft Silverlight 3,0/4.0

ESRI ArcGIS API for Microsoft Silverlight

ESRI ArcGIS 9.3 and commonly used extensions
Experience Required:
Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years experience,
Master's Degree may be substituted for work experience
