Our Staffing Consultants take a consultative approach to working with our clients (companies) primarily by telephone to identify their staffing needs and to best achieve their objectives.  This can be as simple as filling a 1 day file clerk assignment or complicated as staffing and managing a production environment that operates 24/7. 

 

Recruiting, screening, interviewing, administering evaluations and pre-assignment testing (drug tests, background checks, etc.), post-hire paperwork (W-4's, I-9's, etc.) and making hiring decisions (decling applicants throughout the process daily) is a large part of our Staffing Consultant's day.  Selecting the most suitable employees for assignments and interviews is a critical part of their job.  

 

The majority of the day is spent on the telephone with clients, employees and applicants.  We work to grow our business, inform clients of top talent that's available and put our valued employees to work quickly.  This is done by making out bound calls daily with target goals. 

 

Of course, greeting the public, handling multi-line phones, data entry, answering questions, scheduling appointments, general office tasks and utilizing PC skills for admin tasks go with the daily flow.

The top candidate must pass a drug test, clear background check, clear DMV.  The top candidate must have a reliable vehicle in good condition and clean at all times to transport clients or employees as needed to deliver paychecks, tour companies, visit clients, deliver gifts, etc.      

 

PrideStaff-Stockton Associates are involved in various organizations that promote and contribute to the local business community such as the Greater Stockton Employers Advisory Council, the San Joaquin Human Resources Assn., the local Chambers of Commerce, local colleges and universities and many non-profit organizations.  Our recruiting efforts involve speaking to students and graduates at local colleges and universities and attending job fairs.  We also attend trade shows and participate in other events that promote PrideStaff.
