Responsibilities

• Deployment of Linux servers and networks.
• Installation and configuration of Application Server components including PHP, MySQL, Jboss, Apache, SSHD, and openLDAP.
• Configuring and managing backup, deployment, server content migrations.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
• Addressing cross platform (Linux / Windows) compatibility issues.
• Support the IT group, including developing maintenance procedures, cross training, and providing user support.

 

SRequirements:

• Must have at least 2 years experience as a server administrator
• Must be skilled managing, transferring and configuring MySQL Databases
• Skilled in the use of the SQL language
• Understands database tuning and configuration
• Must have experience configuring Apache servers
• Performance tuning (cache control, plug-ins)
• Customize directives and configuration files
• Experience deploying and managing Java Application Servers
• Experience configuring firewalls, and TCP networks.
• Apple OSX / Vmware ESX experience a plus.
• PHP and Linux scripting experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
